Mission Statement
The Royal North Shore Hospital Childbirth & Early Parenting Education Service provides an opportunity for prospective parents to access relevant and up to date information and resources to enable their active participation in the childbirth and early parenting experience. Programs are run by skilled parenting educators in a supportive group format that encourages interaction discussion, and promotes further learning.
We are committed to:
• Providing high quality and responsive education to women and their families during pregnancy and early parenthood
• Maintaining excellence in all aspects of our work
• Encouraging class participants to engage in their own education and to utilise their life experiences to enhance their knowledge
• Facilitating access for all who seek to take part in our programs
