"Express Delivery" - Birthing Intensive. An alternative program to our Birthing and Parenting combined program and our Birthing Program. Contains NO practical component as it is designed for expectant parents who prefer a lecture-style information program. Birth intensive is held over 2 x 2 hour weeknight sessions. We recommend you also enrol in the Parenting Intensive program.
Week 1 covers 1st stage of labour, active labour strategies, when to come to the hospital and partner support.
Week 2 covers pain management options, 2nd stage of labour, birth, unexpected outcomes and postnatal routines.

You will be provided with the useful 'Preparing for Birth:Mothers' and or 'Preparing for Birth:Fathers' books on the day of the workshop. We strongly recommend that you read these texts as a follow-up to attending your class.
Parking Concession rates are available for class attendees. For the concession rate - on entering hospital main car parks P1 or P2, please take a ticket at the boom gate. Prior to exiting: present the ticket and your signed authorised application (from the Class Educator) for validation at the Wilson's Parking Office located in the P2 car park level 4, hours 6 am to 10 pm. First 3 hours free.
