An alternative to our Birthing and Parenting combined program and our Parenting program. Contains NO practical component as it is designed for expectant parents who prefer a lecture-style information program. Parenting Intensive is held over 2 x 2 hour weeknight sessions. We recommend you also enrol in the Intensive Birthing Program.
Week 1 covers what to expect in the first few weeks, breastfeeding, tired signs, settling, community resources, becoming a family and perinatal anxiety and depression (PANDA).
Week 2 covers normal newborn behaviour, safe sleeping, tummy time, home safety and equipment.

Parking Concession rates are available for class attendees. For the concession rate - on entering hospital main car parks P1 or P2, please take a ticket at the boom gate. Prior to exiting: present the ticket and your signed authorised application (from the Class Educator) for validation at the Wilson's Parking Office located in the P2 car park level 4, hours 6 am to 10 pm. First 3 hours free.
