This interactive pre-birth program runs over 1 full day. It explores the reality of parenting and we recommend that you attend this course from approximately 30 weeks. This program provides information on understanding your baby’s needs, settling techniques, breastfeeding, home safety and equipment, care of baby, and becoming a family. Opportunity to practise winding, nappy changing and wrapping under the guidance of an experienced educator. We also recommend that you enrol into a Birthing Program.
This program is for the expectant mother AND her support person. Each person MUST be enrolled to attend. If you are experiencing financial hardship at the moment, please contact the office.
Please bring your drinks and snacks as required.
Please bring a wrap, a nappy of choice, a newborn outfit and a singlet.
Parking Concession rates are available for class attendees. For the concession rate - on entering hospital main car parks P1 or P2, please take a ticket at the boom gate. Prior to exiting: present the ticket and your signed authorised application (from the Class Educator) for validation at the Wilson's Parking Office located in the P2 car park level 4 - hours 6 am to 10 pm. First 3 hours free. THE PARKING OFFICE CLOSES 10PM SHARP.
