These Postnatal Exercise classes, run by a qualified physiotherapist, feature targeted exercise (pilates-informed) and are suitable for all women after pregnancy and birth. Postnatal exercise is recommended from 6 weeks after baby’s birth. Price quoted is for one class.
We are able to offer a free class for every 4 classes you have enrolled in. Please email us at NSLHD-PARENTED@health.nsw.gov.au to advise us when you have enrolled in 4 classes.
Please attend your 1st session 1/4 hour early for your consultation. Our MEDICAL CLEARANCE FORM completed and signed by your Health Professional MUST be brought to your first class.
Please bring your own drinks as required. Babies are welcome to be brought to the classes but you will need to provide anything they may require, including a mat to lie on.
24 hours notice is required if you are unable to attend your class, by emailing nslhd-parented@heath.nsw.gov.au. We will attempt to offer you another place in a face to face class but this may not be possible. The numbers attending these classes are strictly limited to ensure we keep to COVID safety guidelines. Less than 24 hours notice will result in loss of the class fee.
Parking Concession rates are available for class attendees. For the concession rate - on entering hospital main car parks P1 or P2, please take a ticket at the boom gate. Prior to exiting: present the ticket and your signed authorised application (from the Class Educator) for validation at the Wilson's Parking Office located in the P2 car park level 4, hours 6 am to 10 pm. First 3 hours free. THE PARKING OFFICE CLOSES 10PM SHARP.
